Everybody knows about the famed beauty of cities like Florence or Siena, but only a few are aware about the smaller treasures that are spread along the Tuscan countryside.

Just moving few kilometers from the villa, along the suggestive road called “Setteponti” is possible to visit the antique town of Loro Ciuffenna with it’s wonderful Romanesque bridge and overlooked by the 11th century church of S.Pietro at Gropina, recognized as a national monument by the Italian government. Remaining into the Arno valley area (within 10 Km by car from the villa) is possible to visit a lot of other villages like Castelfranco di Sopra, San Giovanni Valdarno, Figline Valdarno; all of them rich of historical and architectural heritages coming from artists of the Middle Age. The strategic position of our Country Villa “L’Oliveta” and the presence of a well connected transportation network, allow to reach easily by train or by car all the most famous destinations in Tuscany and in Italy:

• Siena: 60 min by car
• Cortona & Trasimeno lake: 1h by car
